Hi & Welcome to P.O.M. Squad!

I guess you can say I was destined to wear burgundy and gold! The picture on the left is of me after my first dance recital at age 11. The picture on the right is of me during my tenure with the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders.

As a kid I made up dances with my friends and orchestrated *paid* performances in my living room (hello, budding entrepreneur!). Some of my fondest memories include ministering in dance at church. In high school, I was on the pom team and I majored in dance at George Mason University.

After college, and already tired of my desk job, I chased my dream halfway across the country when I auditioned for Dallas Black Dance Theatre and made 2nd company.

When I returned from Dallas, I re-enrolled at my alma mater to obtain a Master’s degree in Arts Management. That same year, I started my audition journey with the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders. On my third attempt, I finally made the team! I danced for the Washington Redskins for four seasons and served as a co-captain during my last season.

Inspired by my rookie year with Redskins, I founded Positive Outcome Mentoring, Incorporated (P.O.M.) to help build confidence and character in girls through dance. Little did I know, the hundreds of girls I taught would inspire and bring so much positivity to my life. We celebrated our 10th anniversary in January 2023!

Other than being an entrepreneur, I am a wife and a mother to three beautiful girls: Hero (5), Phoenix (3), and Sevyn (newborn).

Whether your little one is starting this dance journey at age 2 or age 11 (like me), I am excited to be on this journey with them! And I hope to make it a fun, positive, and empowering experience every step of the way.

See you in the studio!
